Both Central and Local Government bodies are aware that they need to be in the vanguard providing accessible buildings and environments that meet current legislative requirements and best practice standards. They have therefore sought advice from DBA on how to improve existing buildings to meet the obligations of the DDA and how to design new buildings to achieve inclusive access.
Many Government buildings are listed and DBA have helped to develop innovative solutions that overcome access problems while respecting the building fabric.
